We're all stuck somewhere

That's why it's called a leap of faith, Jack......
So the gang's all back together... the whole Oceanic 5... yep, not 6... somewhere, somehow Aaron is no longer "available"... as a fellow baby, I find this turn of events concerning..I think it sends a bad message to people with babies, that they can just pass them off on someone else anytime they want to magically transport to a mysterious island...let's just say that I've got one eye open at all times.....
That's why it's called a leap of faith, Jack......
The episode started with a visit to the Lamppost, a DHARMA station that is used to figure out when the Island and where the Island will appear next... apparently, that pesky sucker has an impressive source of electromagnetic activity that can be found in other parts of the world as well and this one happens to be in LA, under a church...ok... The Lamp Post was also the first thing the kids saw when they traveled through the Wardrobe in the Chronicles of Narnia... now there's a book with some parallels to our beloved show...
That's why it's called a leap of faith, Jack......
So some "great man" concocted these equations... at least that's what Ms. Hawking said... Faraday's mom... anyone else get the cold hearted impression that she could have cared less about her son's warning from Desmond? I no longer feel like these folks(Hawking, Widmore, Ben) any of them are on the up and up...I would not be surprised to see that somehow, Faraday has been skipping thru time and he's the one who came up with the formulas that found the island in the first dang place... maybe he's the one who is behind all of this.. Maybe he's Jacob..
Check out the date on this photo...Exactly 50 years later, Oceanic Flight 815 crashed on the Island... coincidence?
That's why it's called a leap of faith, Jack......

And what was Ben up to, calling Jack from a payphone, looking like he had been fighting sharks, all bloodied and wet...He told Jack he made a promise to an old friend and that he had to tie up some loose ends...with Desmond in town, methinks Ben was going to complete his threat to Widmore that he was going to kill Penny... I guess we'll have to wait to see what that was all about.... either way, he made his flight....
Along with Hurley, who is carrying a guitar(for Charlie, perhaps?)..so who told Hurley about the flight? Or Sayid?
And why was Sayid in cuffs? And who was the lady cop escorting him? We see the lady cop in the previews for next week...in which we also see Widmore and Locke talking...you know what? For that matter, who told Kate? For all she knew, Jack was already gone..how did she know he would go back to his apartment?
I think that Widmore has got one half of the 6 on his side..something makes me think that he also has Aaron..maybe he threatened Hurley, Sayid and Kate to get on the plane... Ben sure was shocked to see those guys...

OH and what about Frank Lapidus being the pilot??? HAha..this show is such a mind bender... Frank is a pilot on Ajira Airlines, which if you recall, was the label on the water bottle that Sawyer found on the beach, right before they were all chased in the boat..was that Jack and crew shooting at them?? How could that even happen??
That's why it's called a leap of faith, Jack......
Locke is the stand in for Jack's dad..I guess they needed a dead body to gain access to the island... but noodle on this:
what if Christian Shepard was supposed to bring all of the 815er's there when he died?
And then Jack and his dang free will caused them to leave and now they have to recreate the whole thing over again... to stop something from happening... or to make something happen... everything happens for a reason...
Bibles! Get your Bibles here!
With an episode entitled 316, you had to infer the most known quote of the Bible, as I mentioned last week....
Turns out, I was mostly right...Ben gave a great Bible lesson to Jack about Thomas the apostle and how even though Thomas was the one apostle who had Jesus' back, he'll always be remembered for his moment of doubt, forever coining the phrase "Doubting Thomas"...
.... so who is Thomas in our LOST world? I'll go with Ben...I think he'll do whatever the Island asks of him but he won't believe it until he sees it with his own eyes... and what is IT? I'll keep going with the story of Jesus and say that Locke will be resurrected...not actually brought back to life but more like, UN DEAD...like Christian... the real question here is will Christian want his shoes back when he sees Locke wearing them...
And at the risk of blasphemy, the "JL" sort of looks like "JC".....I'm just sayin'!!
Oh and further proof that Jack is a Man Of Science, he didn't know how the Thomas story ended... don't they make you take Religious Studies at like every college in the world??...
That's why it's called a leap of faith, Jack......
The reason I keep inserting this line is because it sums up this whole show..I can recap and predict but it still requires a leap of faith..and that's what's asked of us as viewers and fans... all in due time... although maybe Desmond spoke for a majority of the audience when he yelled out that he was done with Island...
Speaking of time, take a look at this picture and then read my last theory of the day...
The newness of this DHARMA van would indicate that DHARMA is still on the island... but we know Ben killed all the DHARMA folks, right?....which means this van being new can only mean one thing:
Bring on that '70's show!!!
Yep, when Locke stopped the wheel from skipping, he "landed" the island back in the 70's....which means that for close to 3 years, Sawyer, Jin, Juliet, et all have been living on the island, in the 70's..... so why bring the O6 back to that time period? Was it a mistake?
Ms Hawking said they had 36 hours...but at the beginning of the episode, it said "46 hours earlier"..maybe I misheard...I have tiny baby ears....
Or maybe that is how it was all supposed to go down originally...oh, I don't even know anymore!!!
And I can't wait to see Jin speaking in perfect English..he would have to after living on the Island for 3 years...heck, look how good it is now and he's only been there for 3 months....it's going to blow Hurley's mind, since Hurley had that vision way back in Season 3 of Jin saying "It's all going to change"...

That's my time tonight...I'm tired and I want to bask in the silly geekiness of this show... I LOVE IT!!!

whoa

BRO HUG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That episode blew my diaper off!.. Or maybe it was the wind... here in Columbus tonight is a mighty windstorm...we lost the cable and my dad had to go "old school"...that's what he said...I have no idea what he says half the time... he hooked up these long metal sticks to the TV..he called them "rabbit ears" but they didn't look like any rabbit I've ever seen....and my mom was all smiles because she said she was impressed that dad was being so calm about the situation.. he was as cool as a teething ring, fresh from the freezer...

Anyway, this episode packed quite a punch! Starting from the beginning we saw how Montand lost his arm...courtesy of Smokey, the temple security system...

I don't know if any of you recall Danielle's story that she told Sayid: That her crew became sick and she had to kill them all, even the father of her child… well it turns out that she was telling the truth! And she killed them to protect herself, as it looked like they were going to kill her…

apparently Smokey is very influential in converting people to his side of things… But at least now we see that Danielle has been telling the truth all of this time, although now she is dead… but maybe the fact that she was alone on the island all those years after killing her crew and seeing a washed ashore Korean fella disappear into thin air, well, losing her mind may have been the most expected route to take….

One last thing about this part of the story: remember when Danielle was leading Jack and crew to the Black Rock back in season 1? She said that the monster was a security system…. Well here we are 5 years later and sure enough, she was right….. I love how some of these things are coming together..

Off Island, we see that Ben has managed to continue to weasel his way into getting what he wants… He’s done nothing but lie and after seeing Jack’s dad helping Locke, I’m convinced that he’s only doing things for his own gain… OR is he???
Let’s assume that Locke was the one who was supposed to move the island in the first place. So then what? Locke gets a free trip back to the real world and the island stays in tact? I don’t believe that. Jack and all still would have left and that wouldn’t have been good…

So was Christian lying to Locke? Does Christian represent the Island? If so, is the Island demanding that Locke leave? “That’s why they call it a sacrifice, John”. I don’t know but this part raised more questions than any other tonight and it may be a while before we get that answer…
I take that last statement back. The Charlotte story actually raised more questions, while simultaneously answering some…which is truly fascinating story telling. So we found out that Charlotte grew up on the Island. She and her mom left her father behind. I’ll assume that Charlotte was fairly young cause when they got back to the real world, her mom tried to convince her that it was all a dream….It was all a dream, I used to read Word Up magazine, Salt and Pepa and Heavy D up in the limosine… sorry, I don’t know where that came from…

Anyway, Charlotte’s dad was still on the Island..I’m going to speculate that he may have been killed in the Purge, as he was part of the DHARMA Initiative. Did they know that they were about to be wiped out and Papa Lewis made them leave? Is he still alive?
Is he Benjamin Linus?
What? Why would you say such a thing? If Ben knew he was about to kill everyone on the Island, surely he would tell the mother of his child that she needed to leave and take their love child with her. I’m calling it now: Charlotte’s mother is Annie, Ben’s childhood sweetheart and Charlotte is their baby. Which means he shot his baby in the chest last season when she showed up on the Island. Confused yet? I’m just getting warmed up..speaking of warmed up, where’s that lady with my bottle?....all this speculating is making me hungry…
So think about this one, even if it’s completely out there: When Ben saw Alex killed by Keamy, he knew that would set into motion the events that would lead us to where we ended up tonight: Charlotte dying by the river. When Ben said “you killed my daughter” to Widmore, he wasn’t referring to Alex. He was referring to Charlotte. Think about it: Ben, although seemingly demented, is a pretty straightforward guy. And yes, he may have raised Alex as his own but he knew she wasn’t his real daughter… so while he was upset about Alex dying, what was really upsetting was the fact that it set into motion all of the events leading up to now. I know it’s an insane theory but there may be some truth to it…

Back to what we do know: Charlotte thinks Faraday once told her she would die if she ever came back to the Island..which means that Faraday is trying to change the past, or the future… we’ve already seen him during the early DHARMA years..is he time traveling in order to save Charlotte? Does he not believe in “course correction”? His mother is the damn teacher of that principle….he should know what his limitations are….
I guess we’ll see what happens next week when Eloise Hawking tells the others how to get back to the Island… that should be COOL…
By the way, did you notice how shocked Ben was to see Desmond? And then, when Desmond said that Eloise was Faraday’s mother, Ben looked like he was going to pee himself…methinks he did not know that little ditty..but Charles Widmore knew it..which means that maybe, just maybe Widmore has the upper hand on ol Ben and has been using him to get the O6 back on the Island, to stabilize it so he could find it again… or something like that.. Noodle on this as well...We made an assumption last week that Eloise was in fact Ellie, the woman that took Dan to see the bomb... a lot of people are speculating that Eloise is Charles Widmore's sister, mostly due to the way he told her to shut up... I like that assumption...it adds real heft to the story and it also pits a family(Charles, Penny, Eloise, Faraday) against a young punk, who stole the Island from them(Ben).....

I’ll leave you with this one tidbit about next week: Supposedly it was going to be the episode we saw the preview for, which is entitled 316, but I think they are going to switch it with the episode entitled The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham, which should explain what Locke was up to when he traveled off the island… I’ll keep you informed one way or the other… (UPDATE: It looks like it will be the episode entitled 316...anyone want to bust their Bible out for that one? You see it a every football game...John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[a] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life"...NOW if you can't read into that, I can't help you any further)
Later LOSTIES!!!!

Ajira Airlines

Anyone see Pet Cemetary? All I'm saying is that I wouldn't trust this kid any further than I could throw him...and I'm a baby with very little upper body strength..
Good day, LOSTIES!!!!!!!!!
This episode was entitled "The Little Prince", which is a book about a young explorer who leaves his meteorite. This book was written by a French pilot. Who, in real life, took off from a small island and was never seen again.
This is all on Wikipedia and I could not make it up if I tried...
Ok... so after watching the episode, how could you not draw multiple parallels?!?! Well one of my favorite LOST followers, Jeff Jensen at Entertainment Weekly expounds on this ad-nauseum so I won't do it... feel free to see for yourself here....
But after watching the show, the best parallel is the reveal of the French people at the end:

Danielle Rousseau and her science team! Hey look, there's Montand, the one who loses an arm! And look, there's her pregnant belly with Alex inside! And hey look, they found Jin floating at sea....
Wait.....JIN?!?! That dude has like 9 lives!!!!!!!!
And he must be part fish, cause he's always washing up somewhere..except this time he speaks English... which helps, with the French... Thankfully Danielle shows up bilingual... Of course, this only adds to Jin's confusion..poor dude has been passed out during all the flashes... he really is LOST.... But I'm glad he's alive...that would have been a lame death...

So let's return to the central plot this week. Kate is on a mission to find out who is behind trying to get Aaron away from her.... Jack meets up with her and they follow the lawyer to the same hotel that Locke's dad was staying at...oh yeah, I checked the tape.. funny how all of these things circle back.. which reminds me: In last week's episode, Desmond is inquiring at Oxford about Faraday..the lady helping him is the SAME lady that helped Hurley board Oceanic flight 815 in Australia... now, I didn't know that right off the bat.. this internet is crawling with people who have far less to do than me, and I'm a baby...all I do is eat, sleep and poo..... I'm pretty sure they don't sleep...what does the fact that it's the same lady mean? Either she's there to keep the "course corrected" or the casting director at LOST is lame at their job.... I'll let you decide....
Where was I? oh yeah... if this were season 2, we wouldn't know who was behind the lawyer until next week's episode..but now? Well now, we knew before Kate and Jack found out...turns out ol' Ben was up to his old tricks and trying to scare the band into getting back together...
Surely Ben knows that deception isn't always the way...surely, he would try some honey to lure the bees.... well, he might...and don't call me Shirley....
So now the whole gang is back together, sans Hurley... when Hurley showed up in that bright orange jumpsuit, I nearly spit up my bottle... actually I did spit up my bottle but that's another story.... too funny..

Jumping ahead to next week, we see Sun holding a gun to Ben and Ben telling her that Jin is alive and he can prove it... that should be interesting to see...
Meanwhile back on the island.... Charlotte is still bleeding from the nose and next thing you know Miles is bleeding from the nose.... So finally Miles has to know what's going on, now that it's him about to do the "temporal displacement" dance.... for those of you who aren't up to speed on this: Temporal displacement is when your mind can't distinguish between the past, present and future...Remember Minkowski, the guy on the frieghter? Or Desmond? So everyone needs to find their constant, right? That's how Desmond cured himself..he got a phone call from Penny. Faraday is ok because Desmond is his constant, who he just saw again when he told him to find his mother...
So who is Charlotte's constant? What about Miles? and now, what about Juliet?? Turns out, the longer you've been exposed to the island, the sooner you'll get bitten by the temporal displacement love bug.... and it's only a matter of time before it gets to Sawyer and Locke..... or will it?

I'm of the hope that Kate is Sawyer's constant and that by seeing her in the jungle, that was enough to keep him nosebleed free.. as for Locke, well maybe he leaves the island before it happens to him.... that's not a spoiler...we know he leaves and we know he dies but it's the how and why that keeps us caring...take a lesson, writers of Heroes!!!.....
It was really cool to see the Kate and Claire scene from season 1... and the light of the Hatch..Sawyer and Locke sharing their experience of "when they were".... Sawyer asking Locke why he didn't try to change it and save himself "a world of pain". Locke says he needed that pain to get to where he was now.... how cool that the same reasoning also applies to Sawyer..without falling in love with Kate, Sawyer would still be a jaded con artist, never trusting anyone... now he's a better person, sacrificing himself for others... This proves to me that Sawyer and Kate will be together again... that's just raw passion... being a baby doesn't preclude me from knowing about passion... how do you think I got here?

But back to Miles and his nosebleed. Faraday thinks it has to do with the duration of exposure to the Island. Miles responds that he's never been to the Island before 2 weeks ago. Faraday asks him if he's sure about that. SPECULATION TIME!!: Is Miles the baby we saw at the start of this season? The son of Dr Cheng, slash Wickmund slash Waxman slash Marvin Candle??? There was a time when babies could be born on the island.. It's been put out there before that Charlotte has definitely been there before... I hate to speculate based solely on race but I give this episode as my defense. The writers don't show us things that aren't important. At least not anymore now that they are a speed mission to tell the rest of the story... we may soon find out that little Miles is special cause he was born there....and to be born to the man we've come to know as Mr Dharma himself? well that my friends would be called coming full circle..

So who was shooting at Sawyer and his crew in the future? I can't say but I would be willing to speculate that whoever it is, they are the ones responsible for all the bad things that happened after Jack and the 6 left...
This is going to be the hard part to explain to me: The 6 have been off the island for 3 years. And Locke showed up as Bentham 3 months prior to the 6's present time. Which means that the Island folk have been skipping thru time for 2 and half years or so? How????
That to me is the biggest mystery. Well that and the 4 toed statue... but something tells me that will get explained this season as well... who's laying bets that it's Hurley's foot??? haha..I'll let you think about that one...
and if you missed the bit about the water bottle with Ajira Airlines logo, you can check out their site here...
That's my time folks! See you on the flip!

E pluribus unum

Wow... a lot to cover so let's get to it...

No Jack and the gang this week, which was fine with me..until Jack starts becoming the guy we always liked, I can wait on their story...my mom doesn't agree...she likes that side of the story...
Let's go ahead and get the Desmond story out of the way..not because it doesn't matter but because all the other stuff was so AWESOME....
So Des and Penny are floating around the world and they have a baby...the most special moment of the night was when we find out the baby's name is Charlie.... aww, Charlie, who reunited Des and Penny when he turned the sonar block off.... I miss Charlie..
But more importantly, Desmond was on the mission to find Faraday's mom, Eloise Hawking.... yep, I'm going ahead and putting 2 and 2 together... one of Faraday's rats was named Eloise and if you saw the enhanced episode of "The Lie", you would have seen that they gave Ms. Hawking a first name...pair that with the fact that she's in LA and there you go...
All of Desmonds searching led him to discover that Faraday's research was funded by none other than Charles Widmore, so Des goes and confronts Widmore and gets the LA address...wait til Des realizes that he's already met Ms Hawking(she taught him about course correction) .... but back to speaking of Mr Widmore...

Long ago, my dad posited that Widmore had a larger tie to the Island, that maybe he landed with the Black Rock... turns out he was off by about 150 years...as it turns out Widmore was one of the Others back in 1954! Pretty cool when Locke said "Nice to meet you"....

2 funny lines of the night:
Juliet: "Others 101, gotta learn Latin, the language of the enlightened"
Sawyer: "Enlightened my ass"
and
Locke: "How old is Richard?"
Juliet: "Old"

And the Richard and Locke scene was priceless... we saw last year that Richard was at Locke's birth..turns out that Locke himself told him how to get there...
NOW here's where I have a problem... as it always goes with time travel, once you interact with the past, it's inevitable that you change the future... that's always been my stance and I'm only 4 and half months old...
So if Locke told Richard that he was his leader and to go see him in 2 years when he's born, then Richard has been compromised...Locke changed Richard's future...
A side note was Richard telling Locke that they have a selection process for choosing their leader that starts at a young age..remember the "test" that Richard gave a young Locke? Turns out Richard has been wanting to see John Locke for a LONG time, mostly based on the fact that after he tells Richard he's his leader, he basically disappears... now if that doesn't peak your interest in John Locke's future, then I don't know what would....
Another blast from the past included Faraday being marched off by a young blonde woman to disarm the H-Bomb, nicknamed Jughead.... Faraday mentioned that she looked familiar.... after I watched the episode the second time, I picked up her name... you ready for this one?

Elly.... short for Eloise, perhaps? Meaning that Faraday was being held at gunpoint by his own mother...
Boom.. I just blew my own mind..

And in an effort to blow your mind some more, I will leave you with this one thought: Think about EVERYTHING you have seen in the last 5 years of this show and now ask yourself: What have you seen happen on the Island that has been unexplained and link that to time travel.... it explains SO much... my favorite thing to think about while I lay in the pack and play is that Ben Linus gets blamed for so much...killing the DHARMA initiative people, etc... what if he killed them because Locke told him too? And he doesn't say anything at the time to Locke because he can't influence Locke's future...
Boom... there it goes again.....
And lastly, think about this: What if the Island gang flashes back to when they are on the island? Will the run into themselves? Do you recall when there where instances where Locke was not really consistent in his behavior? Like one minute he's a bad arse and the next he's all wimpy? What if the bad arse Locke is Post Flash and he acts on Pre Flash Locke's behalf? That's a tougher sell, I know but the possibility is coming...in the preview for next week, we see Sawyer say he sees Kate in the jungle..... I'm just throwing it out there...
Anyway, that's my time... sorry no cutesy stuff this week.... I'm a baby but I'm a LOST fan first...
And as a post script: I don't know what's happening to Charlotte... my thought is that something has changed that leads to her circumstances being changed..Remember Back to the Future? It's my dad's favorite movie...in it, Marty McFly goes back in time and ends up disrupting the circumstances where his parents meet and fall in love..if you recall, by the end, Marty starts to disappear because he's ceasing to exist...
Now this could be happening to Charlotte but it goes against Faraday's "rules" about not being able to change anything...on that note, I caught a web interview with the creators of the show and they implied that Faraday could be mistaken about the rule...most likely he'll find out later that things can change... or maybe he said that to Sawyer to keep him from trying to effect the future.. I guess we'll find out...
OH and one more thing... at the beginning of this seasons first episode we saw Dr Candle/Halliwax/Wickman tell the foreman that, when it came to time travel, "There are rules. Rules that CANNOT be broken"
Put that together with what Ben said after his daughter was killed: "He changed the rules."...referring to Widmore...it was if Ben already knew how the story was going to go but the moment that Alex was killed, he realized that the past had been changed, which affected the future...now we see that Ben is sort of lost himself, trying to right the wrong that Widmore did...which is why the Oceanic 6 were, in fact, never supposed to leave... but the freighter showed up and Jack's free will overrode destiny...
whew...I apologize for the absolute randomness of this blog... I haven't learned how to really edit my thoughts just yet... I think that comes around the same time I get teeth....

Namaste, my peeps

I love Shih-Tzu

Whoa...
I underestimated the power of El Prez..... would you believe that dude had the nerve to swaddle me in a blanket and put me to bed at 9?? WT...... I'm more mad that he underestimated me... I'm a baby.. I weigh 15lbs... you think I can't get around, old man??? HA!

So here's how I saw the show from behind the couch.. the first hour went by WAY too fast... so the island is skipping like a record, time tripping... I thought it was funny that the first song was by Willie Nelson.... I think liking "trees" would certainly help to understand this show, youknowwhatImean?...... anyway, we opened up with Dr Marvin Candle, explaining the fact that the island has an enormous power source and the DHARMA initiative was trying to harness it.

Look..It's a sonogram.... I have a picture like this of me!!

... I still don't know how Faraday got into that tunnel... time tripping indeed... although I have a theory... it's alluded to below.... I'll let you guys figure it out for now..
Nobody plays weird like Jeremy Davies, aka Dan Faraday

I liked Daniel's explanation of time being a string... I think he was definitely alluding to the fact that the universe course corrects.. much like the elderly woman told Desmond....
Speaking of Desmond, he's "special"....most likely due to his extreme overexposure to the electromagnetic pulse that emanated from the Hatch when he turned the key..... he's like a super hero...I just can't think of which one....
Anyway, Mr Locke is also time trippin but I have the weird feeling that he is actually controlling the time switches.... I know it's weird but it's just a theory... I mean, he was about to take another bullet from Ethan and he winced..maybe he's like Samantha from Bewitched...heheee..... regardless it was cool to see him save Sawyer and Juliet... the previews kind of put Locke back into the whole "I don't understand!!" mode.. I prefer it when he's the bad arse....
Seriously...how many times can this guy get shot?!?

And hey, look at that.. there's the elderly lady... when Daniel told Desmond to go to Oxford, he said "find my mother..her name is....." could there be a connection there? maybe...but then again, Ben met her in LA at a church.. it looks like she was tracking the island flashing in and out of time... she mentioned a 70 hour window... that's a good sign for how quickly they are going to be getting the Oceanic 6 back on the island... or will they all set aside their issues in time? Suddenly Jack looks like the sane one... with the exception of Hurley's family and Sun's baby, they really don't have anything to stay for...
The cool thing about the show is that they actually answered some questions.... but they asked a few more but it's hard to say WHY the Oceanic 6 have to get back to the island in order to stop it from spinning...
Let me leave you with this thought: The OC6 have to "land" on the island when it "pops" back into the current time zone.... what if once they all land, the island does one last time shift and they end up in the past??...
I tell you, this is a lot for my baby brain.. I'll give the old man credit... he's getting ready to watch the show again.. I better head on back and figure out how to swaddle myself.. oh who am I kidding... I'll just flash a smile... they won't be any wiser...
I'm sure I'll see you before next week, but if not, the show is on it's regularly scheduled time of 9/8 c.... that works much better for me... I think I could sneak in another bottle while Pops is distracted....
See ya kids!!
L Prez is O.U.T.

A new era

Good morning, my fellow LOSTIES!!!!!!!

You may not be aware but yesterday was a HUGE day for change..... I'm not talking about Barack Obama taking office.... I'm talking about the coup d'etat I staged against the man you know as "El Prez"....

As you all know, this blog is not what it used to be... missing entries, a lazy posting schedule, no real clues or hints or spoilers about the best show on TV... it was time for a real change, so I did what I had to do....

I, Laila Lucianna Jack 815 Sawyer 23 Kate Brown, have TOSSED my father, the great EL Prez into a holding facility, with his scheduled release to be sometime at the end of this season of LOST....

It had to be done... it's time for a change people!!

My goal is to run a steady, consistent and cuddly cute regime.... I will use force if neccesary but only if I don't get fed on a proper schedule....

So stay tuned for more intense updates, more CONSISTANT updates and a better all around blog..... as you can see below, I am already at work... with my little fingers, typing has been a challenge but what I lack in dexterity, I more than make up for in determination...

So watch the show tonight and we'll discuss tomorrow!!!

Peace and love and...

Namaste...

We have to go back!!!!

"Wait...dude..did I say turkey or chicken?....Dang it, Mr Eko! Stop messing with my sandwich!!"

GOOD MORNING, LOSTIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's Year 5!! Can you believe it?? It seems like just yesterday we were discussing what was in the Hatch... a LOT has happened over the years and I feel like we have all grown together... LOST is kind of like school..we were off for a bit of time and now everyone's got their new jeans on and the fresh white sneakers.... Our pencils are sharpened and our Trapper Keepers make that squeaking sound when they open cause they're so new... mine has a picture of Alf getting ready to eat a cat....that darn Alf!!! Always with the hi jinks...
whoa.....what the F have I been puffing on?!.... I've missed this show so much that I'll just ramble about anything... let's stick to the topic at hand....
What to expect from this season of LOST... from what I hear, see and read on the dubya, this season is going to be a real mind bender....according to ABC, this is the season premiere summary:
The remaining island survivors start to feel the effects of the aftermath of moving the island, and Jack and Ben begin their quest to reunite the Oceanic 6 in order to return to the island with Locke's body in an attempt to save their former fellow castaways
I hope I didn't spoil anything for the folks who are new to this site...yes, Locke is dead... but in the world of LOST, being dead isn't a death sentence... look no further than Christian Shepard, Charlie, Ethan, Libby, and counted others who've been in flashbacks and flash forwards...speaking of which, apparently this season there will be a whole nother story telling device employed that will make the flashbacks and forwards seem like kid's play... just keep an open mind and enjoy the ride...
For those of you looking to catch up, this Wednesday, JANUARY 14th, ABC is airing the Season 4, 3 hour finale, starting at 8/7c....This is one of those enhanced episodes, with the fun facts at the bottom...I think the creators watched too much pop up video on VH-1... I'm not a fan of the enhanced but every once in a while they put something up there that I overlooked...I mean, it's rare because I watch this show in slow motion, with close captioned and a time machine.... I pretty much catch it all.... it's not bragging if you back it up... :)
If for some reason you didn't watch any college football games, the LOST Season 5 premiere is Wednesday January 21st, starting at 8/7c... From what I know, the first hour is the standard Re-Cap episode..then at 9, it's episode 5.01 entitled Because You Left.... this is followed at 10 with episode 5.02 entitled The Lie... that's right... 2 brand new hours in one night!!!!
Check out this link to see 2 new sneak peeks and some promo stuff...plus you can catch up with old episodes.....
All I know is that Sawyer is shirtless throughout the first episode, Smokey is blowing things up, flaming arrows are flying thru the air, Locke is falling out of trees and being chased by planes, Sun's got a gun..... It is so ON!!!!!!!
Whew.. I gotta leave now.... have to start the vitamin regimen and fluid intake program and do a last minute adult diaper run.. the only diapers we have around here are for 12-15 pounders... speaking of diapers, I would be remiss if I didn't make mention that Mrs El Prez and I welcomed our own LOSTIE to our island in September, my sweet Laila....

Her full name is Laila Luciana Jack 815 Sawyer 23 Kate Brown...... you should see her social security card.... it's on 11x17 paper..
Anyway, that's my time.... Because this is an election year, look for a special LOST update on inauguration day, January 20th...there may or may not be a new El Prez taking the reins... we shall see....
Later LOSTIES!!!!!!!!!!!!
